Kim is a nationally recognized physician practice management and coding consultant who has worked in otolaryngology for...well, let's just say a long time! Her background is ENT nursing which provides her the ability to understand both the clinical and business attributes of an ENT practice. Kim was the Administrator for the Department of Otorhinolaryngology at UT Southwestern when she joined the AOA, now ASCENT. She spent 25 years as a consultant with KarenZupko & Associates, Inc. where she helped several practices improve their processes and revenue cycle. Kim also taught practice management, coding, and reimbursement courses for many physician specialty societies, including the AAOHNS, over the years.
