Feeling overwhelmed by stress, or frustration, can compromise your ability to communicate effectively. When you’re stressed out, you’re more likely to misread other people, send confusing or off-putting nonverbal signals and lapse into unhealthy knee-jerk patterns of behavior. And remember, emotions are contagious. If you are frustrated, it is very likely that you’ll make others frustrated, thus making a bad situation worse. The good news is that you can learn how to manage emotions which are essential to your success in the workplace. In this course, attendees will learn about the three elements of mastering Emotional Intelligence. This eye-opening session will get attendees thinking about emotions in a completely different way—one where they are able to acknowledge emotions and then use strategies to change how they react.
